Drive it day is fast approaching so here are this year's event details. Please comment on the FaceBook post to confirm if you wish to attend and also provide numbers. Alternatively you can text Steve on 07798 922548 or let Angie know at the April club night.  

We aim to meet at our start point, which will be The Shrewsbury Arms car park (Mickle Trafford    CH2 4EB), at 10.30am for an 10.45am get away. We will then head out Nantwich way for a midpoint coffee at the Waterside Cafe at Nantwich Marina (Chester Road, Nantwich, CW5 8LB).

Following this we will make our way to our end point which this year is  Whittington Castle (Whittington, SY11 4DF) for about 2.00pm. The castle is run by the Whittington Castle Preservation Trust who have agreed to give us a quick talk and tour of the grounds. The castle is free to enter although you will need a couple of quid for car park charges.

The castle grounds contain a great little cafe called kitchen@thecastle. You can use this on speck on the day or they will send us a menu shortly before our visit. This will be published on our Facebook page so that you can pre-book a take away food box if required. Alternatively, you are also welcome to bring your own Picnic which you will be welcome to eat in the castle grounds.
