Visit to The Daniel Adamson Steam Tug Boat

Talk and tour of the Daniel Adamson

The 'Danny' is Art Deco canel tug steamship that was built in 1903. Destined for the scrapheap, it was rescued and restored by a passionate team of volunteers and is now moored up near Frodsham. Our talk and tour will illustrate the history and restoration project of the vessel and will be followed by tea or coffee. We will be on the boat from 10.30am to 12pm.

There is a cost of £5 per person and we will need to meet at postcode WA7 3EQ. This takes us in sight of the Swing Bridge and The Danny. The crew will make sure we have parking on the grass and in the crew car park. You will need to get to this point by 10.15am in order to park up and board the boat for our allotted time.

Please note there is a maximum number of 32 for this event and will be done on a first come first served basis. If interested please, comment on the Facebook page about this event or text Steve on 07798 922548.
